Simply unplug and unbolt your OEM Blow-Off Valve on your MINI N14 engine, and install this in its place. No adapters, hoses or extra assembly required. All this while retaining complete OE control of the BOV’s operation. Turbosmart’s Kompact EVR06 is a high performance replacement for the MINI’s standard plastic blow-off valve. Standard plastic bypass valves like those fitted to the Cooper S from the factory struggle to withstand increased boost pressures, and their plastic construction fatigues with the heat of the turbo and eventually crack.

If you are looking for more of that classic turbo hiss, then you want to select the “atmospheric” option so you get that audible joy of the turbo.

The plumb back, recirculate, option will offer the same benefits, without the added sound. It has dual ports to vent 50-50 both to the atmosphere and back into the air intake. It combines the responsiveness and of a recirculating valve, with the high-performance sound of a vent-to-atmosphere valve.
